"Straightening My Crown" is about reclaiming personal power and dignity in the face of adversity. It’s the story of recognizing your worth, overcoming obstacles, and standing tall with renewed confidence and pride. This theme invites storytellers to share moments when they’ve had to remind themselves of their inner strength and take charge of their own narrative.

In partnership with Wesleyan College highlighting their first "Discovery Day". Students, faculty, staff and the community will participate in a Storytelling Workshop entitled "Sharing Stories, Building Communities" culminating in this evening's show.
