Sometimes, life asks us to rise — even when the world would rather we stay grounded. Defying Gravity is about the moments we’ve lifted ourselves (or others) above the weight of expectation, fear, or circumstance. It’s about pushing past limits, challenging the rules, and daring to believe we can soar higher than anyone thought possible.
Whether you’ve stood up for what you believe in, broken free from something that held you down, or simply refused to apologize for being you, this night is for the rebels, the dreamers, and the change-makers.
Featuring Julie Callahan with Middle Georgia 4 Choice, we’ll celebrate stories of courage, conviction, and the quiet strength it takes to rise when it’s easier to fall. Because sometimes, when you take that leap of faith, you find out you were never really falling at all — you were flying.
